My Friend's 1970 MCI Converted Bus For Sale

My friend Dennis lives in New Mexico and has decided to put his 1970 MCI bus up for sale. I have photos of it but not all the details. You will have to contact him for all the information on that. I do know he built this bus to be used for boondocking. The few things I do know about this bus are:
  • Two generators
  • 4 x 40lb propane tanks
  • Two A/C
  • Winegard Satellite TV Antenna
  • Spare working engine.
Asking Price $40,000

For ALL questions contact Dennis at trishglore@gmail.com

Before you ask or suggest ... yes my brain cells are analyzing this bus in 'the tropics' of Southern Indiana as it snows outside.

  5. OMG, I want that bus! Love that tub in the bathroom. Why is he selling it for so cheap?

  6. The tub is a jacuzzi. We are asking only $40,000 because Dennis has had five heart attacks and cannot finish the bus. The electrical wiring and plumbing lines have to be put in. Custom wooden blinds and upper cabinets need to be installed. Everything except the upper cabinets is included in the price. It has a sleep number bed and sheets and comforter set are included. So is bathroom linen. The toilet is porcelain, not plastic. We bought the best of everything and have about $50,000 in the bus and materials. The lower cabinets and drawers are solid wood, no partical board. The counter tops are corian with a light ivory molded in sink. It has a garbage disposal and reverse osmosis water system included. A chest freezer is also included and the wood panels have been installed on the refrigerator. The stove is a regular house type stove with four burners and oven. Our plans were to live and travel in the bus for several years but Dennis's health dictates otherwise. It also has a three camera back up system, one camera in the back and one on each side. Whoever purchases the bus gets a bus that's never been used as far as the interior is concerned. TV and microwave are not included so you can pick your own. Table and two chairs are included. The dining room and bedroom are a tad smaller so the bathroom size could be increased. Also has built in pantry. Washer/dryer is a combo. You will love this bus as much as we do if you purchase it.

  7. The bathtub is a jacuzzi. We are selling the bus because Dennis has had several heart attacks and compression fractures in his spine and simply cannot finish it. We have all materials needed to finish it except for the upper cabinets. The electrical wiring and plumbing lines need to be run. The wood panels have been installed on the refrigerator. The countertops are corian. The stove is a regular kitchen stove with four burners and the oven. Aside from the upper cabinets you will need to purchase a tv and microwave. The lower cabinets are solid wood, no partical board. The toilet is porcelain, not plastic. The bed is a sleep number with two sets of sheets and the comforter set. The bathroom towels, hand towels and washcloths are included. There is a dining table including two chairs and a chest freezer is included. The dining room and bedroom are a tad smaller so as to have a larger bathroom. The vanity is cherry wood and has a matching mirror. We bought the best of everything because we intended to live in the bus and travel for a few years but can't due to Dennis's health. Custom wooden blinds are included but need to be hung. Two captains chairs, a barrel chair and sofa that folds out into a bed are included. There is a good sized pantry also. The washer/dryer combo has its own alcove below the microwave shelf. There are two generators. The walls are made of 3/4" wood. The bedroom and bathroom doors need to be hung also. The bus has never been on the road since renovations were started. We are taking a loss because we realize if the buyer does not finish the work themselves they will have to spend some money to complete the bus.
